Marijke Geraets-Sonneveld

Marijke graduated in 1987 with a Diploma of Physiotherapy from Otago.  She has over 27 years clinical experience in the general management of musculoskeletal rehabilitation and related physiotherapy. Professionally, Marijke has a special interest in adolescent health running one of our school clinics.

Marijke joined Bay Physiotherapy Centre in 2007.  She has a wide range of special interests including soft tissue injuries, spinal and peripheral joint problems and uses Acupuncture as an addition to therapy.  Marijke is one of our Clinical Pilates instructors and has worked with different sporting codes such as Netball teams, football teams and dancers.

When not looking after our clients, Marijke has experience in Martial Arts and is currently focused on Pilates and walking, entering events and follows her children’s sporting endeavours.
