Muscle Balance Assessments

What is it? A muscle balance assessment is a through and complex physical assessment of your body taking note of what is working well or not so well. It covers flexibility, strength and coordination of key body regions specific to your sport and physical activities, as well as general movement patterns

Why do it?  To improve your sporting performance or reduce your injury rate

Who would benefit? Two main groups benefit from an assessment. Those who are looking to improve their performance, and those who are having regular injuries or reoccurances of similar injuries

What is the process? Your physiotherapist firstly undertakes a full assessment of you. This may take up toone hour. They then go throught the findings and identify areas that are restricting best function or leading to injuries. A summary of these findings will be given to you with a program of exercises to address these issues. Depending on the number and nature of the results further follow sessions may be required to resolve somplex issues.

What is the cost? The assessment costs $110 for a fully body analysis. Follow up appointments are based on the regular treament costs
